“Gangrene” comes to Luxembourg for the first time.

American artist John Haverty, who we featured in the News last year, will be showing his work for the first time at the Galerie Hervé Lancelin in Luxembourg from 13 May to 15 July 2017.

Entitled “Gangrene”, the exhibition will present his watercolours painted exclusively on ARCHES® Aquarelle cold pressed 356 g/m² watercolour roll paper. His works are inspired by a variety of artists including Dieric Bouts, Hieronymus Bosch and Salvador Dali.

John Haverty is an example of this new generation of socially conscious artists who are concerned about the impact of humans on their environment. A crew chief for American Airlines, he has spent the last few years travelling around the United States and drawing in airport waiting rooms and hotels.
