  • Decor papers used in the manufacturing of decorative laminate board for furniture, worktops, parquet flooring, decorative partitions, compact exterior laminate board
  • Abrasive backing papers papers for industrial and mass market abrasives for sanding wood, metals, plastics and other materials requiring a smooth finish
  • Fine art papers and papers for art publishing
  • A printing shop dedicated to the creation and development of printed decors and coating solutions

Health and safety, the environment, energy

For the Arches mill, meeting quality, health and safety, environmental and energy requirements is fundamental. The site's environmental concerns include saving water and reducing energy consumption and industrial waste.

The site has:

  • A mixed water (effluent) treatment station, that is to say providing dual treatment with a physical-chemical stage and a biological stage that enables up to 25% of the treated water to be re-used, thereby reducing the impact on the environment. The water treated by this station is returned to natural environment clean.
  • All the raw materials used on the site and concerned by this regulation meet the requirements of the European REACH regulation, which came into force in 2007 to ensure safe manufacturing and use of chemical substances in European industry.
  • Manufacturing processes that use less water, optimise recycling and reduce the wasting of materials.
  • A co-generation plant that simultaneously produces, from natural gas, electricity and steam for the paper-making processes and hot water for heating.
  • F.S.C. certification (Forest Stewardship Council) for products containing cellulose which are sourced from forests controlled or certified for their environmental management.
  • Compliance with the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR).

Guided by the Health, Safety, Environment and Energy Charter, the site has obtained and maintains the following certifications:

  • ISO 9001 (quality management)
  • ISO 14001 ( environmental impact management)
  • OHSAS 18001 (management of health and safety at work)
  • ISO 50001 (energy management)
  • F.S.C. (Forest Stewardship Council)
