The gum on a new brush should be removed by dissolving it in water.
Do not remove the gum by rubbing the head between the fingers
as this weakens the hair and may break it.
Active care throughout the life of the
brush :
To ensure long life for the brush, it is
advisable to :
• Clean it after each use, to prevent the paint from accumulating
near the ferrule, and the hairs from separating and breaking.
• Dry it completely, in the open air, to prevent the hairs
from moulding.
• Store it, flat or head upwards, with its protective cap
if possible, to help it retain its shape.
